KG Tris #8: 2/15/09 - Training Safety

Welcome to Episode #8 of the Kelownagurl Tris Podcast!

In this episode, I talk about my training, my shins (again), my laser eye surgery, and training safety issues. Oh, and I gotta learn to make sure the recorder is turned off. This time I caught myself getting ready for my trainer ride and singing like a goof-ball...

I agree on all points. Doesn't matter if you are male or female. Cell phone, ID (I use a ROADID), a $5 bill, nutrition, medicines (I too am deeply allergic to many insect stings). I also carry a small, cheap camera.
Now that is not to neglect my garmin 205 watch, an MP3 player, and anything else we may need/want to take!
My problem with the biking, is road rash. Not that it has happened in years, but it has happened!
Thanks for the podcast, Barb!

I loved your singing. Sing like nobody is listening & dance like nobody is watching. You sound really joyful. Cheers B.B.

Cewtwo - thanks! I have not had any road rash - yet. Hope never!

Beatnik - lol, yeah, I had no idea I was recording at the time. Debated about whether to include it but it was so *me* I couldn't resist. :)
