Hey! Just found your podcast - signed up to to Louisville Ironman next August. Said I wanted to "do an Ironman before I was 50" and realized - holy smokes! - that means next year. Stopped exercising much in 2006 when I got married - we went the "champagne and truffles" route for (ahem) 3 years now. I went thru my drawers and my first tri shirt is from 1988! Yikes! But last "real exercise" I would say was the Big Sur Marathon in 2002 (tore a quad so was sorry to hear one of your listeners mention that - did finish, though a big ignominiously), and then my husband and I (then boyfriend) hiked the length of the French Alps back in 2004. Not sure he's totally on board for my Ironman but I will point him to "" once that's up (heard about it on - I am downloading as many podcasts as I can). Anyway - I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area (between the wine country and the city), I'm "not quite 50," name is Sandy, and my website is
